Raising the bar yet again on long distance AV signal distribution, Magenta’s Infinea M-HDX delivers the industry’s first extension system for uncompressed digital video, audio, bi-directional serial and USB over a single fiber optic cable.
Uncompressed digital video extension enables pixel for pixel reproduction of high definition DVI and HDMI signals at a distance range of 609m. With simultaneous support for audio, serial and USB signal types, in addition to Hi-Definition video, the Infinea M-HDX enables a variety of high performance applications for pro AV, interactive digital signage and KVM extension.
The built in bi-directional RS-232 support allows independent control over, and data collection from, each display while the unique USB extension capability enables a new wave of user engaging multimedia & interactive digital signage applications by supporting extension of Human Input Devices (HIDs) such as keyboards, mice and touch screen applications.
The Infinea M-HDX receivers are fully compatible with Magenta’s Infinea Opto Matryx switch, enabling a single platform capable of routing up to 96 inputs to 80 outputs as far away as 609m, all while supporting hi-definition digital video, audio, RS-232 and USB signal types on each input and output.
