The Fusion Catalyst 4000 is built to order in Jupiter’s ISO 9001:2008-registered US factory to meet the specific requirements of each customer, depending on model:

• Up to 94 DVI, HD, or RGB inputs
• Up to 376 video inputs
• Up to 376 streaming video inputs
• Up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports
• Up to 64 GB of ECC-protected RAM
The Fusion Catalyst 4000 comes standard with 8 GB of ECC-protected RAM, dual hot-swap 320 GB SATA-300 disk drives in a RAID 1 configuration, and a DVD-RW/CD-RW drive.
The standard operating system for all Fusion Catalyst models is Microsoft Windows 7.
Fusion Catalyst 4000 can blend seamlessly into installations such as Network Operation Centers (NOC), Public Utility Control Centers, Intelligent Traffic Management Centers, Process Control, Civil and Military Surveillance Systems, Call Centers, Financial Management Control Rooms, Boardrooms, and Video Conference Rooms.
Fusion Catalyst processors are also PCs, with Intel CPUs and Microsoft Windows, enabling applications to be run directly on the processor. The Fusion Catalyst 4000 features two Quad Core Xeon CPUs and up to 64 GB RAM. Speedy, capacious hard drives extend the functionality. The result is unrivaled performance for even the most demanding command and control applications.
Fusion Catalyst display wall processors can be configured to specific direct input connection requirements. The all-new Dual DVI-I input card handles input signals such as single- and dual-link DVI up to 2560x1600, analog VGA inputs up to 2048x1200, and component video progressive-scan HD inputs up to 1080p60. The Octal SD Video input card handles standard definition composite and S-Video inputs through a rackmountable input panel. It uses Jupiter’s motion-compensated de-interlacing and scaling engine to provide world class video quality, with scalable windows that are freely sized and placed on the display wall. Overlap, PIP, multiple PIP – virtually any arrangement is possible without performance penalty.
Note: Fusion Catalyst are now shipping with Windows 7 Ultimate installed.
Fusion Catalyst 8000
The Fusion Catalyst™ 8000 is the fastest, most powerful display wall processor yet. With bandwidth that reaches 320 Gbps, the Fusion Catalyst 8000 delivers more high resolution windows(up to 2560x1600) at full frame rates and 32-bit color than any competitor. And with up to 80 slots, no project is too big. Featuring the award-winning performance and quality for which Jupiter is known, this is the solution for the most demanding projects. Hot-swappable input and output cards support the most demanding environments.
The Fusion Catalyst 8000 features Second Generation PCI Express slots and a true, non-blocking Switch Fabric communication infrastructure. It provides more expandability, faster graphics, real time HD/SD/DVI/RGB frame rates, and better overall system performance than anything in its class. And with Dual Quad Core Xeons and Windows 7 onboard, you can run demanding applications such as SCADA directly on the video wall. At a full 80 slots, the Fusion Catalyst 8000 can support up to 120 outputs at 2560x1600 pixels at 32 bits. Each Dual DVI-I Output Card has 256MB of onboard graphics memory for flawless image quality.
With optional Dual-Link DVI-I Input Cards, Fusion Catalyst 8000 can support up to 100 DVI, progressive scan component HD, or analog RGB inputs. Up to 400 video inputs can be accommodated using optional Octal SD Video Input Cards. With optional Quad HD Decoder Cards, Fusion Catalyst 8000 can support up to 200 HD or SD streams in MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MJPEG, and H.264 formats. Most popular IP cameras and encoders are supported, as are desktop PC streams with real-time updates. Optional CatalystLink™ cards support PixelNet® HD-SDI and DVI Input Nodes with remote KM capability.
