Technical Tip

Cinde 2BG = simplified switching

The Cinde 2BG generates PAL sync pulses (composite sync and blanking, no burst) and automatically inserts them into a video line whenever the video signal drops out.

An additional feature is the AUX video input, which can replace the internal generator, so the 2BG becomes an automatic priority switcher.

Priority Mode 1 – Video output follows video input, defaults to generated black if the input signal disappears

Priority Mode 2 – Video output follows video input, defaults to AUX input if video input disappears.

Application:

Do you need to have an easy way to show either a video tape or a DVD feed on the same local monitor and not have to switch the monitor input every time.

The solution is:

Use a Cinde 2BG to automate the switching!
