CB-2000

The CB-2000 is a networked single-gang button controller designed to deliver fully integrated and easy-to-use control of classroom A/V functions like projector power on/off, input switching, and amplifier volume control. With two serial ports, IR and network connectivity, the CB-2000 is the only product capable of bringing powerful local and remote control and monitoring to 21st century classrooms. The network capability of the CB-2000 makes it easier for teachers to work in a media-rich learning environment and provides unmatched administrative tools in an 8-button, wall-mounted, control panel.

In The Classroom
The CB-2000 creates a seamlessly integrated, media-rich classroom environment by providing intuitive control of classroom instructional technology like projectors, audio amplifiers, set top boxes and document cameras. Each button is fully configurable and capable of triggering up to 4 individual device commands.  The network capability of the CB-2000 gives educators access to FrontRow-Calypso’s encore! desktop control panel software, which provides control to networked and non-networked devices and allows scheduled commands like power on/off to be sent to classroom A/V devices.

Installation and Administration
The CB-2000’s embedded web server provides a convenient configuration interface to from any PC connected to the campus network, eliminating the need for configuration software or wands. No longer does an installer need to visit each room for configuration. When connected toFrontRow-Calypso’s CM-3000 networked audio amplifier, the CB-2000 receives power via the network eliminating the need for a 9V power supply.  Ongoing administration and maintenance of projectors and other devices is simplified with Calypso’s Maestro remote administration software, which allows administrators to more efficiently track and respond to tech support issues and extend maintenance budgets with features like scheduled projector shut-downs.

FrontRow-Calypso CB-2000 no longer supports sending CIRT commands. Cutting and pasting universal codes is just as easy.
