The CA-1000 provides remarkable audio quality and unheard of flexibility and value in a compact classroom amplifier. With its multi-channel input, teachers can easily switch between classroom audio sourcesDVD, PC, mp3/CD and microphone. Optional audio ducking forces audio sources to automatically mute when a designated microphone channel is active, and un-mute when the microphone goes quiet, with selectable time delays. Similarly, the PA Detect circuit forces complete mute when overhead speakers are activated.
The CA-1000 comes complete with 4 discrete inputs, including 1 stereo balanced/unbalanced, 2 stereo unbalanced and 1 mono balanced/unbalanced. Any two channels are selectable and may be mixed together, and channels 1-3 can also be set as mono channels. With an on-board mixer that allows for preset levels, and serial and IR control for switching, volume and other controls, the CA-1000 is the ideal classroom amplifier solution.
