The Rainier series of multiviewers is Avitech’s cost-effective, entry-level solution for combining multiple DVI-I and HD/SD-SDI/Composite video signals on a single display in resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. Proving that value does not have to come at the expense of performance or flexibility, the Rainier series is available in 18 models to meet the needs of a wide variety of applications. A completely versatile solution, Rainier modules can be used as standalone units, or four Rainier processors can be cascaded for auto detecting up to 17 different computer and video inputs. Rainier modules allow full flexibility in the sizing and positioning of input windows, and can display embedded audio meters, alarms, tallies, and aspect ratio markers.

The Rainier series is compatible with Galaxy control software. Galaxy software is a simple yet powerful control system that is specifically designed for systems that are less complicated. With Galaxy, configuration layouts or presets can be made quickly, and are easily recalled via a number of options, including GPI, Avitech’s MCC-SCP (simple hardware control panel), ACP (complementary software control panel), and TACP (touch screen control panel), or 3rd party control systems via IP or RS232.
