The MCC-8004 series of multiviewers combines virtually any digital or analog video or audio signal on one display. Offering the utmost in flexibility, a MCC-8004 system can range from a simple quad split or can be cascaded to accommodate more inputs (up to 60) to create a virtual monitor wall. Powerful features include an integrated on-screen display, which provides on-screen labels, borders, alarms, optional audio meters as well as support for Asian and European symbols. For a truly customized look, the input windows can also be resized and moved freely. MCC-8004 modules contain BNC connectors for 4 discrete video inputs. Audio inputs can be in either 4 pairs of analog stereo or balanced/unbalanced AES/EBU. Digital embedded audio can also be extracted from the HD/SD-SDI video stream. Each MCC-8004 module is completely autonomous — in the event that one module fails, only the corresponding input signals are lost.The MCC-8004 is compatible with both Cosmos and Galaxy control software to provide the right tools for systems of any complexity. Cosmos allows users to easily configure and edit presets and displays, while providing an interface with leading routing switchers, production switchers, and tally management systems.Galaxy software is a simple yet powerful control system that is specifically designed for systems that are less complicated. It is ideal for fixed installations that do not need to integrate with 3rd party routers, production switchers, or tally management systems.
