One communication signal at a time.

The Aviteck units can accept one form of communications at a time. If the COM port is open then the IP network port is closed and will not open again until the COM port has exited the terminal program that is using this port to communicate to the Avitech unit. This works in the reverse order as well.

VCC-4cIP Supported Signals.

Supported Input signal types (RGBHV), via the DB15 and DVI connectors are 4:3. XGA, SXGA and UXGA. 16:9, 15:9 maybe accepted but the full image may not be displayed.

Supported Input signal type (YUV), via the 3 x BNC connectors is Interlaced only 576i and 480i. No Progressive Scan !

The DVI cascade input can be used to take a DVI signal from a PC as a full screen image on top of which all other inputs will appear. "IF" a user made their desktop backdrop, black, then they could open a number of windows that would look like additional inputs. example: a user could make a window on a 16:9 screen that was 1/2 the screen and then place the standard inputs on the other side.
